Title: Using social information to improve opportunistic routing

Abstract: Opportunistic routing has been subject of constant research lately. Such type of routing takes advantage of contacts among nodes to deliver information. However, it must deal with link intermittency which results from node mobility, physical obstacles, power-saving schemes, among others. In addition, opportunistic routing solutions must cope with the non existence of end-to-end paths. There are different approaches that attempt to overcome such issues. Thus, this presentation will cover the different families of opportunistic routing solutions, pointing out the latest trend which uses social information to perform forwarding
