Title: An alternative approach for mobility management on user-centric environments

Abstract: In order to provide a mobility management system suitable for user-centric environments, where the network is built spontaneously and is composed by users with potential and willingness to provide connectivity, there is the need for novel mobility management architectures, which should be more flexible and adaptable taking into account particular characteristics from that kind of networks. The talk will be about a mobility management architecture that considers the possibility of splitting the management functionality into blocks that may then be distributed across the network, which raises the question on where would be the best location for each of the functionalities, what gain could be achieved with such structure, and for what costs
