Title: Evolving social structures: metrics incorporating social behavior aspects

Abstract: This talk will provide an overview concerning the recent trend of social metrics and in particular, of multidisciplinary ways to address association costs. We address the current notions of centrality and betweeness based on social networking theory, but also give insight into how such notions are perceived by other, related fields, e.g. social sciences.
